Module 1 Reflection

This Module has made me think about my role as an instructional designer in the following ways...

I get to figure out, with the help of my students, what the big ideas are. I like the idea of sifting through the content and figuring out the answer to the following question..."What is it that we really need to understand within this content?"

I love the idea of figuring out what kind of project will inspire the big ideas we need to learn and make the learning authentic. I also enjoy asking folks in the community to come and share their expertise. They love to do that and they also like being involved in projects via email or some other Internet based application.
